"Caring and Sharing Go Hand in Hand"

As your Caring for Our Community executive champion during the past few years, it has been a tremendous privilege to represent such a compassionate group of people who feel so strongly about uniting to make a difference. In fact, last year our team members, volunteers and physicians came together to help raise nearly $395,000! In today’s economic times, your accomplishments speak loud and clear about our values and the power of philanthropy.

With our theme this year “Caring and Sharing Go Hand in Hand,” the opportunity to show how much we care about our fellow team members, hospitals and community is once again in your hands. You can choose to create a safety net for team members in need through the Family Care Fund; provide support to our MPM Foundation, which funds nursing scholarships, new technology for our hospitals and programs for our patients; or build a stronger community through United Way.

The Caring for Our Community Campaign runs from August 8 to September 16.

As a new option this year, I would encourage you to consider making your gift to the campaign using the online pledge form that can be accessed directly from the BayCare Intranet under the “More Stuff” tab. Simply select “Team Member Giving” and then “Morton Plant Mease” to access your personal form. You can also download a copy of the traditional pledge form by clicking here.
